ERCP SEMS Deployment in Klatskin (Cholangiocarcinoma) tumour.

Indication: Obstructive jaundice due to Klatskin tumor & DM

FINDINGS
Papilla : Bile flow absent

Cholangiogram : CBD & CHD shows irregular narrowing. Intrahepatic biliary channels moderately dilated.
Pancreatogram : Not attempted.

 

Therapy : pre-cut neddle papillotmoy followed by sphincterotomy was done. Metallic stenting (10Fr.10cm uncuvered nitinol, self expandable metalic)done. Bile flow is seen through stent.

 

 

COMMENTS : Hilar cholangiocarcinoma, SEMS Implantation done.
